Overview

Sushi Man opened in Yuen Long in 2015 as one of the few high-end Omakase restaurants in New Territories. The challenge was to introduce and educate customers who have never heard of Omakase and to also attract target audience from Kowloon and HK Island to visit Sushi Man.

Strategy

“Be the only one or be the best one” is the motto of Sushi Man’s founder – Man-Ho Leung. Voltage introduced the concept of Omakase to the local market by educating people about the quality and culture of Japanese Omakase. Voltage launched Sushi Man’s social media platforms and has been managing them since the beginning. Regular influencer tastings were hosted regularly to maximise online exposure.Voltage helps Sushi Man opened and has been managing its social media accounts from the beginning. We also organise regular influencer tastings in order to maximise online exposure.
Result
• Voltage secured over 60 coverages to which included many 1-on-1 interviews which led to the total AD value of over HK$3 million • We have also successfully built an online community, with a following of 3,805 Instagram followers and 6,155 Facebook likes and each account’s social media following increasing daily • Sushi Man extended their outlets to Whampoa and Shenzhen in the span of 4 years
